We want to make this facet of the business the easiest we can for everyone involved. While realizing that parting with things can be difficult for many different reasons, a nice check can certainly make it worthwhile. Plus, ADORE is contributing to the most elegant form of recycling!
We pride ourselves on our inventory and we want what is best for you, our supplier, for our customer and of course, for our business.

Items that we accept:
We accept ladies' and juniors' designer clothing, shoes, purses, accessories, jewelry and vanity items. All items must be clean (shoes and purses clean on the inside) and in like-new condition (perfume however, can be half full). We also love pristine vintage, the fashion forward and the unusual!
What we do not sell:
At this time, ADORE does not consign, buy, or sell men's or children's things nor do we accept any items from any lower end mall stores or any discount stores. We also do not accept lingerie unless it is new with tags still attached. Please keep in mind that we focus on high-end designer labels and boutique items.
It is against the law to allow counterfeit items to enter the market place knowingly or unknowingly. We do not sell any unauthentic or "replica" items.
If you are not absolutely sure your item is authentic, we can not take it. Original receipts always help, if you have them. Please see http://www.fakesareneverinfashion.com/ for more information.
We offer options to our suppliers:
Regular consigning
It is usually best to call for an appointment but we always make exceptions. You bring your clean, pressed clothing into us on hangers and accessories in bags. (Your hangers are returned upon receipt of an item). We go through your items, judging them based on salability in our boutique. When an item is accepted we set the selling price of the piece. Occasionally we might ask you a question, “Where did you buy it?” or “How much did you pay?” to help us determine this price.
After your initial group of items is accepted, we then sign a contract explaining that you will receive 50% of the selling price (not including the buyer fee and taxes). We will keep your items for a period of 90 days, wherein some prices may be reduced every thirty days at the discretion of ADORE. At the end of your 90 days (your end date will appear on your receipt), it is your responsibility to call within the last 5 day period if you wish to retrieve your unsold items. Items not picked during this period become property of the store. We do not notify consignors when their contracts are up
Selling on the spot
You can also bring us your clothing on hangers and accessories in bags and, if accepted, we can buy them outright from you then and there. It can be a quick and easy transaction. You make less than with consignment (as long as the consigned piece would sell close to its original price), however some people prefer this fast and final transaction
ADORE coming to you
Our third option is good for people that want anonymity, are not physically able to cart their things to our store or have a lot and are not exactly sure what we are looking for. We can also help with regard to an estate and understand that dealing with a loved one’s personal items can be a very emotional time.
An appointment is made for Adore to come to your home to see what would have salability in our shop. We could buy outright or consign. If consigned, we would give you a receipt for the number of items we are taking, and after pricing them back at the shop, we would send you an itemized receipt.
